MPMG is Launching a Podcast!
Murray Paterson Marketing Group is thrilled to launch our very first podcast, Arts Amplified, on Thursday, January 17, 2019! MPMG will take listeners on a deep dive behind the scenes with your favourite artists, creators, directors, journalists, musicians, and yes, even arts marketers. This eclectic program will include interviews, informal storytelling, mini documentaries, opinion, and maybe even a performance or two, because after all– it’s all about the arts!
To set the scene for this exciting new venture, we’ve prepared a teaser trailer that asks the question, what is the state of arts journalism in 2018? We dug deep and found insightful answers from some of North America’s finest arts journalists and writers including Jesse Green of The New York Times, Marsha Lederman of The Globe and Mail, Stuart Derdeyn of The Vancouver Sun, Rodrigo Flores of Joyful Magpie, and Howard Sherman, former executive director of The American Theatre Wing (the organization that produces the Tony Awards), and writer for The Stage.
